Choosing wallpaper for your home in Kuwait

A wallpaper choice should begin with the room you live in. A beautiful catalogue scene is a starting point; your furniture, light, proportions and everyday routine give the design its context.

Start with what stays in the room

List the pieces you are keeping: the sofa, headboard, curtains, rug and floor. Choose a colour relationship between these pieces and the wallpaper before deciding whether the pattern should be quiet or expressive. A neutral room can carry an intricate wall; a room with several patterns may call for a calmer background.

Photograph the room in daylight and under the lighting you normally use. Screens and room-set photography cannot show exactly how a colour or finish will appear in your interior. Where a sample is available, compare it with your existing materials and ask the showroom how to view the chosen design at a useful scale.

Compare pattern, texture and scale

Classic ornament, modern geometry, florals and textured designs create different moods. A small detail seen close up may read as a texture from across the room. A larger motif may become the main visual feature. Consider the distance from which you will usually see the wall, including the view through the doorway.

Compare an individual product image with the supplier room scene. The room photograph illustrates a styling idea; it does not establish the exact material, every colour option or current availability. Keep the product code and collection name together so the team can identify the wallpaper accurately.

One feature wall or a complete room?

Identify the wall you want to notice first. A feature behind a bed or a seating area may work differently from a wall interrupted by doors, windows and cabinetry. Look at corners and transitions before deciding how far the wallpaper should continue.

For a complete room, consider how the pattern meets at each corner and how it relates to curtains and flooring. Share a simple plan and the width and height of each wall. Let the team confirm the exact roll dimensions, pattern repeat and required quantity for the selected product.

Prepare for your showroom visit

Bring room photographs, measurements and two or three references that explain the look you like. Our showroom is at Sun City Complex in Shuwaikh, Kuwait. Al Sarraf has served Kuwait since 1982, with wallpaper and parquet presented through a personal showroom conversation.

Our prices always include installation. Before ordering, confirm the selected design and colour, quantity, availability and lead time. Ask about the condition of the wall and any preparation or accessories that your particular room requires.
