Wallpaper measurements, rolls and installation in Kuwait
A useful wallpaper quotation needs more than a room’s floor area. Record each wall separately and keep the chosen product code with the measurements, so the quantity can be checked against the actual roll specification.
Record each wall, not only the room area
Make a simple sketch with one number for each wall. Write its width and height, and mark doors, windows, fitted furniture, recesses and unusual corners. If the wall height changes, record the different heights rather than using an average.
Photographs help explain the sketch. Take a wide view and closer views of any surface problems. For a mural, provide the full dimensions and the positions of obstructions; the visual placement may matter as much as the total area.
Roll coverage depends on the chosen design
Roll length, roll width and pattern repeat vary between products. Matching a repeated design may require additional material compared with a plain design. Do not assume a standard roll size or subtract every window and door before the fitting plan has been checked.
Ask the showroom to confirm the quantity for the exact product and colour. Keep the product code, collection and quantity together in the quotation. If a batch reference matters for the selected item, ask the team how that will be handled before committing to the order.
Discuss the wall condition and installation
Tell the team about the existing finish, old wallpaper, visible damage, moisture marks or planned building work. A photograph is helpful, but it does not replace checking the surface and the manufacturer’s instructions for the selected wallcovering.

A clear enquiry makes the next step easier
Send the design reference, photographs, wall sketch and preferred timing in one message. Ask for confirmation of the product, colour, roll dimensions, quantity, installation scope, availability and lead time.
For parquet, send the room dimensions and a photograph of the existing floor instead. Ask about pack coverage, skirting, transitions and floor preparation. The wallpaper roll calculation should not be reused as a flooring calculation.
